Freda Kinoti is an epidemiology specialist with over 20 years of experience in HIV research, HIV care and treatment and programming. She holds both MBChB and MPH degrees from the University of Nairobi, Kenya; and an MSc in Epidemiology from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).

She has held senior technical roles in clinical research, patient care, program management, monitoring, and evaluation. She has coordinated research studies including multi-site clinical trials and served in leading roles as a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning professional in PEPFAR funded HIV care and treatment programs in Kenya and Global Fund programs in Nigeria and Eritrea.

Being a seasoned epidemiologist, she derives deep satisfaction in contributing to improving lives of communities affected by HIV through data-driven insights that lead to informed decisions leading to more effective prevention strategies and treatment outcomes while ensuring meaningful resource utilization.
