

Kennedy is responsible for the Monitoring component of the M&E service area. Kennedy’s areas of expertise include monitoring and evaluation (M&E), resource mobilisation, governance, project management and coordination. He brings over 20 years of experience working in the health and development sectors, with an emphasis on providing programmatic and M&E-related consulting services focusing on HIV, TB, Malaria and health systems strengthening. He leads multidisciplinary technical teams across various countries and has worked across several African countries (Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Namibia, Rwanda, Eritrea, Sudan, Somalia and Zambia) as well as Vietnam. He has also worked as a team leader on research activities at the Institute of Development Studies, University of Nairobi, and as a consultant for donor funded programs in the public and private sector, NGOs and Governments. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from University of Nairobi in Kenya, as well as a Master of Philosophy in Environmental Studies and Human Ecology from Moi University in Kenya. Kennedy also has a certificate of achievement in Health Systems Strengthening (HSS) from the Nossal Institute for Global Health University of Melbourne, Australia and in COVID-19 from the University of London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and UK Public Health Rapid Support Team.
