

Ellis has over a decade of experience as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) professional mainly in the health sector. A thoughtful leader, implementer and researcher, streamlining MEAL activities through institutionalized evaluations, assessments and continuous analyses for learning and adapting through evidence-informed decisions.
Ellis is data driven ensuring quality through robust performance measurement, evidence generation, sustainable/integrated implementation, and advocacy coupled with knowledge in information platforms (DHIS2 & ODK), data analysis (Ms.Office & R studio) and data visualization (PowerBI & Tableau). He has supported grant performance reviews and developed electronic/digital data management systems in Africa, Middle East and Asia. He previously worked with LVCT-Kenya and Pathfinder International to strengthen health and climate systems.
Ellis holds a bachelor’s degree in project planning and management from Moi University, a master’s degree in public health (MPH) from the University of Nairobi, and a diploma in business administration from Kenya Methodist University.
