

Coceka Nogoduka is a public health specialist with over 18 years of experience in the HIV and TB space. She holds a degree in Medical Technology and a Master’s in Public Health from Umeå University, Sweden. She has served in senior roles across government and NGOs, including as Director of the HIV Programme for the Eastern Cape Provincial Government and with PEPFAR-funded initiatives. Most recently, she worked at the South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) Trust as Executive Manager for NSP Implementation and Acting Executive Manager for Strategic Information.
In October 2021, she joined the Department of Basic Education as Chief Director for Care and Support in Schools, overseeing health promotion, HIV prevention, psycho-social support and nutrition.
Ms. Nogoduka is a seasoned expert in HIV and TB response, policy implementation, stakeholder engagement, resource mobilization, strategic information systems, and governance with a strong track record in leading public health strategy across sectors.
