

Patrick Amanzi is a public health expert and epidemiologist with over 19 years of experience in health systems strengthening, strategic information, and program implementation across Africa. He holds a Master of Public Health (Epidemiology) and a BA in Demography. Patrick has held senior technical roles with USAID/Zambia, UNDP, the Ministry of Health, and the Global Fund, leading national initiatives in HIV, malaria, TB, MCH, and digital health.
He has provided technical leadership in health data systems (SmartCare, DHIS2, OpenLMIS), HIV estimates, and impact evaluations, including a recent national assessment on the effects of U.S. Government funding cuts in Zambia. His work spans more than 10 countries in Southern and Eastern Africa, and he is known for his expertise in research, results-based management, stakeholder engagement, and policy translation. Patrick is committed to evidence based programming and sustainable health outcomes through strategic partnerships.
