Rita Motlana

With over 20 years of international consulting experience in the development sector, Rita is responsible for the Evaluation component of the M&E service area, as well as Governance and Leadership aspects. Prior to 2009, she was a senior manager of the International Development Assistance service line at PricewaterhouseCoopers Namibia and previously worked with Deloitte Zambia and Deloitte South Africa in similar capacities. Rita’s clientele includes the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria; Gavi; UNDP, UNICEF, UNAIDS, WHO, U.S Government, Gates Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, GIZ, amongst others, and various national NGOs and African Governments. Rita’s technical expertise is in monitoring and evaluation (M&E), public health, risk management, strategy development, resource mobilization, program management and coordination, governance, leadership development, and project / concept development.

Rita has work experience in over 20 countries in Africa, East Europe, North America and Southeast Asia. She holds a Bachelors degree in Law (LLB), Makerere University; a Masters in Business Administration (MBA), Heriot-Watt; and a Masters in Public Health (MPH), London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Rita volunteers her time as a mentor with Girls for Girls (G4G), a global mentoring organization that seeks to empower girls to lead and serves as a Trustee with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.
