We offer a range of monitoring and evaluation related services. Our monitoring and evaluation work is underpinned by participatory approaches that ensure the results contribute to tangible improvement for the beneficiaries. Our work typically deploys mixed method approaches, triangulating qualitative and quantitative data to provide a holistic view of the intervention(s).

We have expertise in the following areas:

Results-based monitoring

We support organizations and projects to track their progress against an agreed set of SMART indicators. We also support the development of results frameworks that include appropriate measurement metrics (key performance indicators).

Process evaluations

We work closely with implementing entities to analyse complex multi-faceted interventions: assessing areas including relevance, efficiency and sustainability, and proposing actions to improve alignment, gain synergies and enhance effectiveness.

Impact evaluations

We work with various stakeholders to identify the changes that have occurred due to the program or intervention and measure the effectiveness of the program. We specialize in establishing the “effects” created by the project / program and how these can be sustained and used to improve future service delivery. We use the theory of change approach to design and implement theory-based evaluations.

Theory of change (TOC)

We work with implementers to develop organizational and project theories of change – cutting across a variety of sectors and population groups. We apply the theory of change to evaluate the effectiveness of a program or intervention examining the underlying assumptions about what drives effectiveness and leads to the desired outcomes. The ToC informs the design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation of findings.
